Privacy Policy

We collect information in two ways.

Information you give us directly. When you submit a listing through the "List Yourself" form, we collect your name, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, fractional role, city and country, years of experience, weekly availability, preferred engagement model, monthly rate range, and professional bio. A profile photo and personal website URL are optional. Your email address is not displayed publicly on your listing.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we collect standard usage data through analytics tools. This includes pages visited, time spent, referral source, device type, and general location (country or region level). This data is collected in aggregate and is not tied to your identity unless you have consented to analytics cookies.

We use listing data to display your public profile in the directory and to contact you about your listing, such as to confirm submission or notify you of changes.

We use analytics data to understand how visitors use the site, which guides are most useful, and where we can improve. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising targeting unless you have explicitly granted marketing consent through the cookie banner.

We retain listing data for as long as your profile remains active in the directory. If you request removal of your listing, we will delete your data within 30 days. Analytics data is retained according to the policies of the third-party tools we use (see below). You can request deletion of any personally identifiable data we hold by emailing hello@fractionalcxo.to.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the site. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you choose which categories of cookies to allow.

Essential cookies are always active. They are required for basic site functionality.

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site. These are only set if you accept analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity for this purpose.

Marketing cookies are only set if you accept marketing cookies. These may be used for remarketing or advertising measurement purposes.

You can update your cookie preferences at any time using the preferences link in the site footer.

We use the following third-party services that may process data about your visit:

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are used to measure site traffic and usage patterns. Google may set cookies on your device if analytics consent is granted. Google's privacy policy is available at google.com/policies/privacy.

Microsoft Clarity is used for session recording and heatmaps to understand how visitors interact with pages. Clarity only collects session data if analytics consent is granted. Microsoft's privacy statement is available at privacy.microsoft.com.

LinkedIn profile URLs submitted in listing forms are stored as plain text and linked publicly. We do not integrate with the LinkedIn API or access your LinkedIn account data.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. If you submitted a listing, you can request an update or removal at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@fractionalcxo.to and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
